Tamerlane Global Services (Tamerlane) is a full service, project management company specializing in increased supply chain capacity. Tamerlane focuses on more difficult operating environments with less developed infrastructure such as Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, the Caspian Basin, Central and Southwest Asia. Tamerlane’s clients are typically smaller to medium sized freight forwarders, logistics companies, and business-to-business or government (B2B/B2G) service providers originating in North America, Europe, India, or China. We leverage our collective scale to compete with larger third party logistics providers (3PLs), international couriers (i.e., FedEx, UPS, DHL), and other B2B/B2G companies. We have no intention of ever being the “prime” contractor – that is not our model.

Tamerlane has positioned itself to work within challenging zones in a highly effective way. Although we are headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, we have seven operations overseas. Our back office is located in Sarasota, FL. We will set up camp where there is a need. Consequently, our locations are in an excellent position to assist any organization meet its goals to serve their clients, whether they are private companies, the US military/government, foreign militaries/governments, or International Governmental or Nongovernmental Organizations (IGO/NGOs, e.g., UN, Red Cross). Tamerlane is NOT a defense contractor. Rather, we are a logistics company that specializes in challenging environments.

Today, Tamerlane runs cargo flights into Djibouti, South Sudan, and Somalia. It moves US military cargo across Afghanistan and delivers goods throughout Pakistan.
